Background

I love the feeling I get when the people I work with start to perform at a level they did not think was possible and then that leads to their organization performing, sustainably, at a level they did not think was possible. I have been working with leaders and teams my whole career, helping them to deliver increasingly strategic and complex business transformation projects such as: Post Acquisition Integration, Culture Transformation and Business continuity and Crisis management. I believe in coaching and developing people to unlock potential, foster innovation and create outstanding results and that we can do all that, while being our authentic selves and having fun. I apply this approach when I am running a project for senior executives at a Fortune 100 company, and also when I am working with public school teachers in the favelas of Brazil. I did the same when I was running a medium sized business here in Brasil and also when I worked with John Cleese in London for 11 years. What matters to me is not the size of the project, or the job title of the team members, it is getting each individual to perform at their highest level in a way that transforms the culture and the results. As a Scot living in Brasil, who has worked all over the world, I value diversity in a very practical way. Diversity of thought, of experience and of approaches, because that’s what leads to the best results. The passion and energy that I bring to my work is fueled in large part, by teams looking back on a successfully completed project and saying “I can’t believe we did that, that was incredible. What’s next?’
