Darlene bought her first house in 1991 through the appealing HUD program boasting that an owner occupant buyer could buy a house with only $100 down. It took her 2 years to buy just 3 houses when she first started out, but then progressed to leading a team, 20 years later, that transacted $2.5 million - $10 million in single family assets monthly for several years during the foreclosure crises. From 2013 – 2015, her team sold just under 350 houses with total sales price equaling $64 million. They finished 2016 with 220 houses sold and total sales price surpassing $40 million in single family homes in Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Tampa/St Petersburg, Orlando, Delaware, and Kansas City. Between 2013 – 2015, Darlene brokered a team who managed over 4,000 single family rentals. Their software, reporting and marketing methods made them a great ‘Boots on the Ground’ partner for any fund with assets to manage. Currently, she is doing business in multiple states and leads a team that purchases properties to flip, wholesale and to hold as rentals. She coaches and brokers for investors and is seeking to include other investors to partner in joint ventures. She also teaches Real Estate Strategies monthly, leads Real Estate Boot Camps, and speaks at Real Estate Seminars for local and nationally acclaimed companies like Auction.com, GaREIA, and other local Real Estate Investor groups.
